New Patients
Are you expecting? Are you new in the North Dallas area? Are you looking for a new pediatrician? Or, has your health insurance plan recently changed requiring you to change pediatricians?
Our professional team at TLC Pediatrics, PA provides the quality care your child needs and the advice and counsel you want. Our pediatricians are board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and are Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Meet the Doctor Night
In order for you and your child to get acquainted with us, we set aside a special time each month for you to come and “meet the doctor.” This is an excellent opportunity for you to locate our office and ask questions to get to know us and our views on medical care like circumcisions for boys, breastfeeding and immunizations for older children. This time is typically the 3rd Monday evening of each month in the waiting area of our office. Please give our staff a call, schedule an appointment and plan to attend our next "meet the doctor" night!
First Visit
Whether your first visit is bringing in your newborn or you are transferring to our practice, please take the time to complete our New Patient Forms and bring them in with you. Also, please be sure to bring in your current health insurance card and driver license. This will speed up the registration process and get you seen by our providers as quickly as possible.
New Babies
We welcome babies born at all area hospitals and birthing centers to our practice.
You do not need to "register" with our office before your baby is born.
If your baby is born at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen or Medical Center of McKinney, Dr. Moulton or one of our associates will examine your baby and visit you each day in the hospital, answering any questions you may have and also discussing your newborn’s care. If you are considering circumcising your son, we highly encourage you to have us perform it before your infant is discharged from the hospital, unless there are medical issues which prevent it.
If your baby is born at another hospital, their staff pediatricians will care for you and your newborn during your stay in the hospital. Please request records of any immunizations given to your newborn for our providers to review at your first appointment.
Please contact our office while you are still in the hospital, during business hours, and schedule your newborn’s first visit. We prefer to see them 1-2 days after you are discharged to check on their weight and any possible issues, such as jaundice.
